Service Delivery Manager
Job Description

The day-to-day supervision and line management of all field based staff , helping AquaCare Water Hygiene achieve its annual profit targets:

  • Supervise, on-site where necessary, and ensure the full and efficient use of labour in line with the programme of works,
  • Liaise with Business Development to ensure the right paperwork snd job details are correct before starting the job.

AquaCare Water Hygiene offers a technical solution based on a mix of products and services to ensure compliance with legislation and to produce efficiencies within its target markets.

Main activities and tasks
  • Ensure completion of contracts to the specification and to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Relay further business opportunities to the Business Development sales team.
  • Carry out the function in accordance with company Safety and Quality requirements. Provide on-site training when required.
  • Liaise with customer site representative ensuring their requirements are met.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available on-site to complete the work required.
  • Assist where necessary in-field and give sales support to any member of the WHS team.
  • Plan efficiently and effectively, in conjunction with the WHS administrator all jobs to ensure effective use of labour.
  • To ensure compliance by other members of the WHS surveyor’s team in accordance with the AquaCare WHS procedures and policies and in accordance with the method statements issued by reviewing and checking risk assessments and amending as necessary.
  • To help train other members of the WHS team as per the WHS training matrix.
  • Training, ensure that all WHS technicians meet the required standards of legionella control, any statutory training e.g. Confined Spaces, plus any training that will be pertinent to the role of a WHS technician.
  • To check and review the monitoring sheets received from the water hygiene technicians and highlight any short-comings or failures on behalf of the technicians or from the site results.
  • Where necessary, support the Business Development Account Manager on any technical issues or contract renewal negotiations with the client.
  • Ensure that the WHS team are compliant with the LCA Statement of Compliance at all times and that we comply with the Approved Code of Practice L8: 2000 at all times. Review on a monthly basis with the General Manager.
  • When necessary and as work dictates, complete tasks such as cleaning & disinfection, monitoring of water systems etc.
  • Liaise with the General Manager in technical issues and compliancy issues that affect the delivery of the WHS offering to the client.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed with Health & Safety in mind and that all WHS technicians comply with any Health & Safety legislation. This will also include the need for reviewing all PPE on a routine basis and recording thereof.
  • In conjunction with the WHS administrator ensure that the Company standards are met with regards to KPI’s i.e. generation of ‘sales’ opportunities and/ or upgrade opportunities either within the WHS offering or other departments within AquaCare i.e. plumbing, heating, underground or drainage.
  • Review time sheets, absenteeism and monitor annual leave, where necessary with the individual(s) concerned.
  • Liaise with the WHS General Manager on all aspects of the WHS delivery and technicians.
  • Ensure that all water hygiene technicians and surveyors meet and exceed KPI’s as set by the General Manager.
