Job Description

Be primarily responsible for obtaining new business in both Water Treatment and Water Hygiene. Help in achieving the sales turnover, and to achieving pre-set gross profit targets by ensuring that the tasks given are carried out in an orderly and professional manner, to:

  • enhance the company's market image,
  • increase profitability
  • identify new or upgrade business in existing or new customers.
  • build on success by customer relationship building

Other duties may involve chemical treatment servicing.

AquaCare Water Hygiene offers a technical solution based on a mix of products and services to ensure compliance with legislation and to produce efficiencies within its target markets.

Main activities and tasks
  • Produce action plans, including territory planning and strategies to generate short, medium and long-term prospects.
  • Implement the plan to achieve a pre-set financial budget.
  • Undertake on-site analyses and surveys to achieve an understanding of potential clients' business needs and produce reports, estimates and quotations to ensure maximum efficiency and legal compliance.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships through on-going service and regular review; in conjunction with the General Manager, ensure key customer contracts are negotiated and reviewed annually.
  • In conjunction with the General Manager, ensure adequate resources are planned for, and allocated to, the successful maintenance of on-site services.
  • Review performance with the General Manager; collate this information to report to the General Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Identify markets for growth of products and services.
  • Generate, wherever possible, cross-selling opportunities; liaise where necessary with AquaCare's Property Services and Underground Departments with regard to business opportunities from the existing Water Hygiene Services clients.
  • Liaise closely with the EST’s and other members of the team to ensure that the requirements of the company are met with regard to forward planning of labour, where applicable.
  • Assist where necessary in field and give support to other members of the team.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with company ISO, Safety and Quality policies.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the Departmental Procedures and those under the Legionella Control Association – Code of Compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of legionnaires’ disease, through training and continual improvement, either through internal or external means as identified at annual appraisals or interim ‘tool-box’ discussions.
